The contract to upgrade Crude Oil Atmospheric and Vacuum Distillation units of Syria’s Homs Refinery has been assigned to Iran Itok Co by Syrian Homs Refinery Co. (HRC).
The project- which is planned to take 33 months to complete- is expected to start this month.
Based on this engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) project, Iran Itok Co. is supposed to upgrade distillation units of this refinery to receive Syrian heavy and light crude oil.
Homs Refinery with the current production capacity of about 115,000 bpd was the first refinery in Syria came into operation in 1959.
